I didn't get my new Pink Saturday post up yesterday! I wound up babysitting my grands and ran out of time.
This is a photo I snapped of my granddaughters' feet. My friend Carolyn said, "You captured their soles!"
I never dreamed you can tell so much about a person just by looking at their feet until I shot this photo. The feet on the left belong to the youngest. She's our little fashionesta. Notice the pink patent leather shoes and painted toenails. If you could see the rest of her you would see she is wearing a frilly sundress in beautiful summer pinks, greens, and yellows. At only five, she will comb and "style" your hair for hours on end if you'll let her!
The feet on the right belong to the nine year old. When I asked the girls if I could photo their feet, she said to me, "Gran my feet are dirty!" "No matter" I assured her, "they are still cute even with dirt on them." She's the sporty one, always on her bike, climbing anything in site. Yesterday she said to me, "Look Gran!" When I turned she had shimmed all the way to the top of a high door frame in their home by holding on to each side with a hand and a foot. When I shot this photo she was wearing a "T" (also with some dirt on it) and shorts.
Hmmm . . . I'm more like the granddaughter on the right. My feet, and the few shoes I own, speak to that too!

Oh Tonja, I LOVED this post. First of all, it certainly fits the "pink" meme.
Secondly, those feet are just too cute for words.
Thirdly, I believe between the feet and your words you not only captured their soles but their souls as well.
I LOVE IT.
Happy Pink Saturday! I'm still visiting so you are just in time. :-) Great photos.
I absolutely love this, Betty Jo!!!
What darling little feet and so true, the stories behind the sweet little feet is just charming. I am sure you had a great day even if you missed out on your "PINK" post.
Hugs, Diane
Betty Jo, this picture is absolutely adorable. Aren't our grandchildren the best?! I know I adore mine, too.
Happy Pink Saturday, dear one.
Happy Belated Pink Saturday, Betty Jo - love the photo of those cute feet!
Well, that's fine - makes me feel less guilty as I am only just doing my blog hopping today!
Love those pink flipflops, very sweet. And their soles are safe with us... Happy Pink Saturday!

What a lovely shot Betty Jo. Love their feet in pink sandals. I'm still adjusting to having two boys at home. My eldest got out of school last week. So I didn't really have time to do my Pink Saturday this weekend. I hope you are doing well...
Hugs

Oh my goodness what a divine photo and post.
As you know seldom do ALL of us in blogsphere stop and read ALL of what someone said, but you had me at your opening line.
I will be back... wonderful blog.

Aw, so cute! Love this shot, those lil feet, and the darlings that go with them. Lol, so true, about thier personalities being captured in their feet, and shoe choices. Great pink Saturday idea, too! :-)
Oh goodness Betty Jo! I just love, love, love this photo! Yes, I believe you truly did capture their "souls" Such a precious photo...me, I am a mix of both girls...I love my toenails painted and I love shoes but most of the time you will find me barefoot and with dirty feet from being in the garden barefoot! lol! But I love it!
hugs dear friend...♥♥♥

What a great shot! I love the little bits and pieces that tell just a portion of the story - but it's amazing how much a little bit actually tells! ::Jill
