prepare to drool

These are the best scones I've had since moving back to the US from England many years ago.

My friend Carolyn and I discovered these luscious goodies, speckled with chocolate chips, and sprinkled with sugar, in a small community coffee house/cafe not so far from our neighborhood. We've sampled the brown sugar scones there too! We're waiting to taste the coconut pineapple, blueberry, raspberry, and cranberry!

OMGosh! Each taste is like having angels on steroids dancing all over your taste buds!

Of course it means we're going to have to walk the hill near our apartments more often than we do now, a hill we refer to as the hill from Hades!

I'm sorry to do this to you . . . no, no, not the temptation. There is actually more to the scone story than I can tell you right now. But . . . soon I hope.

If you really want to drool, just click on the photos to enlarge them. Then don't forget to wipe the lick streaks off your monitor when you're done!

'til next time,

Hey Betty Jo!!

It would be VERY dangerous to have such delectible goodies close-by - wow, they look awesome!! You are such an awesome photo-stylist!! Can't wait to hear your scone-related news! :o) BTW - Love the previous post with the photo of your granddaughter's feet...loved what you wrote...

Have a great weekend Betty Jo!!
